What are the structures we call all on four or all on six? We place the implants within certain rules, in certain designs. We place them at certain angles, and if the bone is insufficient and we cannot obtain the number of implants needed; that is, normally in the upper jaw we recommend 8 implants and 6 implants in completely edentulous patients. Sometimes the bone is not enough for this, and we need to reduce the number of implants. Here the all on six systems come into play. We place the implants according to a certain design and make special prostheses on top, again prostheses we place on a titanium bar. These can also be screw-retained systems or they can be cemented.
